Infosession
Do I need to attend the infosession?
Everyone interested in this opportunity must first attend the infosession. The infosession will provide pertinent information necessary for you to determine if this opportunity is right for you. Attending the infosession will prevent unnecessary use of time.
What information will be given at the infosession?
During the infosession you will find out details on the types of calls you'll receive, how you can find out the pay rate for specific companies, the length of the training classes, and much more.
How long is the infosession?
The infosession will last for 30 minutes — 15 minutes will be used to provide you the necessary details, and 15 minutes will be allotted for those attending the session to ask questions.

Independent Contractor
What is an independent contractor?
An independent contractor is someone that is self-employed and contracts their services to a company or individual. You do not have to own a business to be an independent contractor.
Will I be an employee of Schire Group?
No, you will not be an employee of Schire Group. While working with Schire Group you will be a self-employed independent contractor that contracts with Schire Group to provide agreed upon services.
How long will I work with a client?
Each client opportunity for which you contract will have contract terms of 30, 60, or 90 days. At the end of the contract/statement of work (SOW) term the client may decide they still need assistance and ask to renew your contract for another 30, 60, or 90 days. Renewal is not guaranteed. Likewise, at the end of your contract you may choose to continue with the same client, or you may contract with a different client.
Will I receive a 1099?
If you are paid $600 or more by Schire Group during the tax year, Schire Group will issue you a Form 1099-MISC.
What is a 1099?
A 1099 is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) form that is used to report income received through sources other than employment. As an independet contractor, if you receive payment from Schire Group of $600 or more during the tax year, you will receive a 1099.
